Audio Visual Group

The Audio Visual Group is an integral part of the Camera Club and any member is entitled to attend any of the extra meetings arranged. The Group is composed of members who have a particular interest in producing audio visual sequences formed from digital images with added music, sound effects and voices. The resultant sequences are displayed to other club members and the general public by way of presentations made to clubs and organisations who request such performances.  Group members also share skills and knowledge in workshops with other clubs, if invited.

 

Stirling and District Camera Club has always been at the forefront of audio visual presentations and was the first Club in Scotland to go entirely digital.

 

In the 2010/2011 season, the Club made presentations to the Larbert Forum, Ludgate Church, SDCC Club Night, Dunfermline PA, Stirling NTS and Tillicoultry WRI. Presentations in the new season, 2011-2012, have already been agreed for the dates below:

The Group meets in Stirling RFC, generally on the first Monday evening of each month during the course of a session and during the summer period as necessary. New members receive tuition, if required, on the programs used to create visual sequences/construction/editing of soundtracks.

Any member of the Club is welcome to attend on a regular or occasional basis

SDCC is a member of the Film and Video Institute (IAC)
